Sacroiliac Joint Fusion (iFuse)

Sacroiliac Joint Fusion using iFuse is a minimally invasive outpatient surgery done under general anesthesia used to treat sacroiliac joint dysfunction. Typically done through a 1 ½ inch incision on the side of the buttock, a series of titanium implants are inserted under the guidance of a special x-ray machine (fluoroscope) to fuse the ilium to the sacrum.
